Ouch...that's so frustrating. QI is always fun though. Oh no is he going...I didn't know that! It won't be the same.

Morning Pen and JOdel :)

We get a lot of mudslides in Northland after rain (but we call them 'slips'). Ain't no fun at all being on the wrong side of one (or in the case of the great rain of 2007, very many and complete isolation for two days).

No, it just won't be the same. Poor Sandy has some humungous boots to fill. All I can hope is that Alan stays put. If he goes too...wah!

Is Alan the one with curly dark hair? I'm hopeless with names. I watched a movie last night with him in it...

I'm in Los Angeles. Inner City. And apropos of an earlier discussion, have been carless for going on 22 years. It's life in the slow lane, but it's doable. Not so much so in the 'burbs.

Yes, Pen, Alan's been the dark curly headed extremely funny foil to Stephen since the first QI program 12/13 years ago. I love him, he is soooooo wicked :)

JOdel, I ventured forth in a car in Auckland yesterday and it was frightful. Auckland would barely rate as a city in the US but my gosh, it was awful trying to find a park. My sister and I are heading into the city centre Saturday arvo and yesterday's experience has already made me say we're taking the bus! I love public transport, I just wish Northland had it :(

I know the name of that game, but for me it's only been 16 years. I live mgwithin a 2 or 3 blocks of any public transportation I might need, so getting around is pretty easy here within the city limits.

OK, I'm lost. What is QI? Is that strictly a Down Under TV show, or is it available elsewhere as well?

After a LONG and upsetting for her ride, we finally got home. She does not like being in a carrier.

All was well however, when she discovered my blanket!

I'll have to check that out Pen, as we do have BBC America here, so if they're broadcasting it, I'll take a look.

You should be able to see the page but you might not be able to play the video...
OK, I just realized that link was to a video of that episode, so I'll see if I can watch it. I'm going to check into whether the show's actually broadcast here in the States.

A month of ketchup taken care of! Having most of you guys be part of the testing team works for me.

Sounds like things are going well including a new furball! Cute companion there.

News from here (which Alisa, Pen and Skylab already know) is we WE SURVIVED GOLIATH!!!! Governor declared Eastern NM to be in a State of Emergency during the storm. There's still remnants of snow drifts in my yard.

Very, very British, and as funny as all out :) I have almost all of the programs downloaded and it's my go to when I need a laugh.

What a sweetie, Satira! So cute the blankie :)

My gosh, Terre! Very, VERY pleased to hear that! But not about the snow in the yard.
