Finally, just finished going over my RDNA archive list...only a few things were missing, so now that project has been completed. My eyes are screaming of course, but it's done.

I may go off now to get some rest...everyone, have a nice evening, and I'll see you tomorrow :)

Terre, posting this so you can see the difference between the default Hivewire Horse, and the Shetland Pony.

My problem is probably the script blocking then.
Well that does explain things but a lot of people have good reasons to be wary/suspicious.

Yeah, does show both sides of the issue more clearly. Only time will tell...but I still feel that we should be watching carefully as Adobe and Microsoft move in toward 3D territory. It will take a strong, productive 3D community to endure those types of changes...and those who are young (under 40) need to be looking down the road, and considering decisions carefully and keeping up with technology as it changes, if they want to continue making a living as a 3D artist. Things just can't stay the way they've always been. It's like the challenges I had at work, wrangling with the over 50 year old crowd, who wanted to still use IBM Selectric typewriters for everything...saying it was too much trouble to learn computers...and I struggled with them for about 15 years...some made the transition to digital images and computers, and those who would not change the way they did things were let go from their jobs. And of course when it happened, there was a great outcry that it was everybody else's fault that they were let go...when in reality, they made a lot of little decisions over the years that put themselves on the track to becoming obsolete...and then it was too late to change the consequences of those decisions. It's a very similar scenario right now in rapidly growing and changing 3D digital art.

Yes, I read Regina's Facebook post this morning, and am glad she posted it. It really does explain a lot.

Oh, hey, those look very nice, Sky! I usually set my poses up from zero, but sometimes I will grab pose sets and use them as a starter to alter from for a scene. And those look really nice. Thanks for the heads up!

I read Littlefox's post last night. If the official announcement had given that kind of information, I think people would not have reacted quite as badly as they did. I know I would not have been as ticked off as I was in the beginning. Upset, maybe, but I sort of "grew up" in 3D with RDNA. But I would not have been so ticked off if the announcement had been worded like that.

I'm taking a short break from Nataani's Poser mats, because it's just irritating me too much at the moment. So I started working on this instead. ;) Just a quickie test render because it's such an early WIP. LOL

His clothes are all Mike3 items; from the shirt, to the pants, the belt, even the wristwatch and his eyeglasses. Only the hair is an M4 item. And Blake himself is a Genesis 1 with a heavily modified M4 skin. LOL :)

Those look nice, but they're for DS4 so I'm out of luck. :(

Hmm. They would be easy enough to run through the PFE and convert over to PZ2 format. They don't involve placement with multiple objects; it's just Dusk. I might send the content creator a message and see if he'd like to have those.

I happen to like your "quickie test renders". ;)

LOL. I always seem to go play with Blake when I'm getting ready to burn Poser at the stake!

Hey everyone :) Just got back from running errands.

I thought the poses might interest you, since they were unusual, and difficult poses that would make great starter poses. And yeah, the PFE script would convert those I would think.

Seliah, glad you're having fun with Blake...I think you were Posered out, plus the forum has been jumping for days about the RDNA thing. I agree, Littlefox could've done a much better job of announcing the transition. I really felt for her, a difficult decision. But in time folks will settle down into a new routine. I really think many of the folks could benefit from spending time here at Hivewire...and that's not just a sales pitch, it's the truth. It takes time to heal after getting hurt like that. Some folks who were hurt at DAZ years ago haven't gotten over it yet...and I think it was because they wouldn't give collaboration with others a whole-hearted chance in a safer place...and it ends up for them being a case of always ducking when nobody's throwing a punch. I was in a different place with in that I wasn't a vendor, just a fellow exile...haha. When it happens to vendors, it's like getting screwed out of a job...hard to be nice and cheery about that...so some of these folks need a little hope and acceptance. The old timers who are well established, shoot, it'll hardly phase them.
