You can find HiveWire 3D and Lisa's Botanicals products, as well as many of our Contributing Artists, at Renderosity. This thread lists where many are now selling their products. Renderosity is generously putting products which were purchased at HiveWire 3D and are now sold at their store into customer accounts by gifting them. The above post is probably now in the book of records for the most replies/quotes.

Pen will be seeing her doctor regarding treatment options for Carpal Tunnel, and is resting comfortably. Thank you for your concern. Donations will be taken starting next week when we establish the fake account, I mean, foundation.
lol...I did say I lost count of the pages I had to read! But no carpal tunnel yet...

Ahh, Skyrim. It makes it seem easy what Studio and Poser makes so difficult. I've got all the realism texture mods and the weather mods and the real water mods. I've considered hanging up Studio and Poser and just scripting scenes in Skyrim. Realtime animation, not rendered a frame at a time...
I can't remember which mods I have at the moment but I do have a few. It is very well done though.

I see a lot of old friends, though [smiles]; and who knows which others may become new friends?

Introducing myself, I mostly use Poser, and sometimes Vue. I enjoy making Poser material room node spaghetti. I model quite a bit, mostly in Silo but occasionally break out modo. Most of my stuff is for TinkerBell, and also a lot of Lord of the Rings items and Narnia stuff. Other times, it's sci-fi props. Oh, and environment playsets (terrains with skydomes).

Assuming there is a freebies section, I'll be needing to know where that is.

Hello, Seachnasaigh, and welcome. :)

We do have a freebies section. We refer to it as Resources. You can make use of this section one of two ways. The first, is to go right to the forum and you can start your freebies thread and post your download links there.

The second way to do it, is to look all the way up to the top of the screen. Underneath the big green HiveWire3D name, you'll see a link called "Resources." Clicking on that will take you to the section where you can upload your content directly, via the "Add Resource" button which will appear in the upper right corner of the Resources gallery.

Here is the HiveWire Resources & Freebies forum with all the threads listed.
And here is the main Resources gallery.

If you choose to upload directly to the second link, the forum software will also automatically create an individual thread inside of the forum on the first link as well.

And this is our Contact forums and sub-forums, where you can find the FAQ, TOS, and get questions or how-to's answered.

And this is our Software Discussion forums and sub-forums, for discussions surrounding specific programs that we use in our hobby. We don't currently have a Silo sub-forum in there, but we do have one for Modo and Vue.

Again, welcome. It's nice to meet you. I'm a DS-only artist myself, though I do try to make versions of my content for both DS and Poser when I'm able to. If you have any questions, feel free to ask, and someone is bound to be able to help. :)

Hey cousin Rokket!

Thank you, Frogimus.

Thank you for the guiding info, Seliah.

Great to see you here seachnasaigh, I have always followed your input elsewhere.

Welcome to everyone else as well, I am sure I have missed some as I am finding it difficult following this thread and the relevant ones over at RDNA, great to see you all here.

Hi Seachnasaigh, good to see you here...I remember meeting you on the forum during the Poser 2014 and 11 releases. I was doing poses, and you were creating all kinds of cool stuff.

Welcome to your new home :) Here's a link to the Free Stuff area here at Hivewire if you want to go ahead and start a thread there.

Strange as it may seem I never thought of how appropriate it was here. I use the same name elsewhere and have done so long before Hivewire3D was around. It actually comes from another love of mine and that is Formula 1 Motorsport. Dates back to the time when Eddie Jordan ran the Jordan race team and the sponsors logo was a hornet. I even still drive a Honda Civic Jordan, but I use the hornet name because if I mention Jordan these days people think of someone very different to Eddie. :)

I'm so glad that Littlefox posted that...it's good to hear the rest of the story. I'm sure it was difficult, it's never easy letting go of something you've put so much of yourself into...but it sounds like it was intended to be for everyone's benefit. Again, I admire her honesty in expressing how she feels, and I'm so glad she posted it for everyone to see. I wish the best for everyone involved.

I agree with that the post is well written and does shine a light on a different side. I do feel for all of the crew over at RDNA and understand that it just have been a very hard decision and that this is a bad time for them. I just desperately hope that they do not feel betrayed at some future date, they deserve better.

Hornet3d, I agree...one of those decisions you make in which you "hope" will work out for everyone's benefit. Only time will tell. Meanwhile, it's like Hivewire has become a haven, especially for those not sure what to do next. They can continue to be creative here, while things settle down, and begin to make sense.

Though I do hope that RDNA vendors will continue to be able to support non Genesis figures and Poser, I simply do not see them being able to support HiveWire figures. I'd absolutely love to be proven wrong.

Hopefully too, Syyd, Colm and Eric get out of this what they expect. I sure would not want to be in their shoes. The loss of RDNA is bound to be harder on them than on us.

Off to work now. Anyone want to guess how many pages there will be when I get home 10 hours from now? I'd be surprised if it were less than 6.
