Well, yes and no. I didn't really watch them, my older sister did. For a lot of these, I was about 5 when I first took notice. I was actually in community college before I started paying attention to what the soaps were about, and even then it was only General Hospital, Young and the Restless, and All my Children.

My grandmother kept me after nursery school and kindergarten, and she watched them, called them "the stories." I only remembered the intros because I had no clue about the shows.

I remember in my last couple of years in high school, I didn't really follow them that much, but they were on when I go home from school, most prominently General Hospital. That was when I think the storyline was following Luke and Laura.

Remember him?????? Anthony Geary, played Luke Spencer on General Hospital. He's 75 now.

Mom watched All My Children, so I knew about that. Never cared for them. They're like football...a ten minute thing can drag out to days in those shows! :D
