And I now have the close-up bumps set for the torso and limbs. This was rendered at 900x900 pixels, which I think is a decent size. The materials do hold up mostly decently at about 1100 pixels, but much more than that and folks can expect to have to do a little bit of postwork smoothing out bits and pieces of the skin. There's just nothing I seem to be able to do with that. The texture maps are 4096x4096 pixels already, I can't go much higher than that in size. LOL
Anyway. These are the closeup/portrait view bump mats, completed for head and body both. Used the full beard option, clean skin option. I think I'm happy with these now.
I'm going to finish getting the last of poses and Library thumbnails done, and then he'll finally be ready for Beta.
