After the floods of 2010-11 on Australia's east coast there was an abundance in breeding conditions for water bird species. This resulted, when the water receded of burgeoning flocks dispersing and some birds made it across the Tasman Sea. Including several Pelicans.

And Australia has a large population of Kiwis... and they can be seen gathering certain times of the week at certain locations :whistling:

lol...so true...certain inner city areas abound with Kiwis all seeking beverages to sustain them.
