And now for something completely different

Heraldic Beasts: Unicorn is a set of poses based on traditional heraldry, taken from historical coats of arms.
The poses are designed specifically for use with the Unicorn, and as such they pose the lion tail and not the standard horse tail. However, apart from needing the tail posing separately they are usable with the horse and several of the horse breeds with little or no adjustment. A similarly based set for the Big Cat is now in CAV, and one for the Winged Horse is in development. Of course, I'm itching to get my hands on the Lion, the Dog and the Dragon to give them the same treatment!

More poses are in progress (including some that are as far as beta testing). Saddle textures need me to learn more DS!
The dog came out though, so of course I had to pause and have a play... and try to make it look more like MY dog!

Out of curiosity, is it likely anyone would be interested in morphs that ONLY affected the paws, or is that way too specialised?

Default front paw on the visual left (although that's actually the dog's right front paw), my own morphing on the paw on the visual right (the dog's left). I've narrowed the paw and toes, elongated the two central toes, made the joints on the tops of the toes more pronounced, and changed the angle of the claws somewhat. I've also roughly slimmed down the whole leg, although I haven't really played around with that much yet.

yes, a lot of breeds have different shaped feet, if you were thinking of selling then they could be a sweet deal.

Yes I would be very interested in this. I am not too keen on the base dog's paws, yours at least look like they can be morphed to something more realistic. Have you made the nails a morph to be longer also, if that is possible. A thinner tail morph is needed too.

paws have always been difficult to model I guess... while our HW dog is nearly perfect, I too, would love to have these! :)

To be fair..the base dog IS a Labrador..and the current paws are fine for them :) Different breeds can have different shaped paws..thanks to morphs like HaiGan's :) The more morphs we can add..the better our models will look

Soooo, the paw tweak works fine with the rescaled dog! I thought it might, because it's all magnets right now. What I still haven't figured out yet is whether I can pull it over into DS easily.
