You're welcome Seliah. I had them on the old forum, and kept adding to it now and then, so if you ever see something, post in the thread, and I'll add it to the list. ;)

Thanks for the links. I just started playing with Blender (as in doing the coffee cup tutorial) so they are very useful.

A quick question if someone knows off the top of their head, can you export the particles generated when you make hair or fur in Blender back into Poser? I was wanting to make a winter render of Harry but he needs to be a bit furry to look realistic. I tried fooling with the PP11 hair room but it will take forever to set up all the hair groups. I watched this tutorial
on blender/cycles and thought it looked easier because you can paint hair particles all over an object, but then I didn't know if you could import what you have made back into Poser to render.

I have no idea about that. So far the coffee cup is the only Cycles tutorial I've played with. You might try the Blender forum at R'osity. They're pretty knowledgeable there, and it's where I've gone a number of times over the years when I needed to figure something out.

When I get caught up on my products a bit, I want to check these out.
I did make a necklace of chains with rings studded with gems by following their tutorial on a CD from 3D world once.
Also made a head of a woman.
It has been too long since I worked in it, thanks for the links. :)

You're welcome FL, and I'd love to see how that necklace came out. ;)

It is no longer on this drive.
It was on a big 400 gb drive that got deleted.
But I do have it somewhere on a dvd and will try to find it.
Losing so much stuff from drives is why I back up a lot now but it is all scattered on cd and dvd discs.
If I get where I can afford at least two big hard drives, I am going to use one just for zips and psd files soI don't have to keep it all on this one external drive.
Fortunately I do still have my dvd from 3D world that has the tutorial on it so I can try again. :D

Oh don't worry about it FL. If you find it, good, if not, I'm not in any rush. I just thought if you had it handy, I'd like to see it.

I thought all blender files could be imported back into PP11
As far as I know, Blender can export as .fbx, Collada (.dae) which is Blender's default export format, and Wavefront .obj, which is how I export from Blender.

I'm not aware of Poser (any version), or any other 3D app for that matter, that can import Blender's native .blend format.

Poser can import .fbx, collada and of course the obj...so you are right no .blend format..
I thought I read somewhere that they were working on being able to send direct from blender to poser...a plugin I think
