BACKGROUND:
This work belongs to no particular series, and though I had a story concept for it when I started, I am no longer sure what that was. I remember she was a Techno-Angel, I believe a Cheribum, but possibly an Archangel. The rippling effect on the arms is purely intentional as I was trying to illustrate an almost liquid-like, metamorphic quality to her form... Yes, the right arm is a gun.
Even though I consider this a finished work it is more of a concept drawing than anything. It lacks a background of any sort.
This image was created mostly with a Number two, hard lead pencil, and finished with a .05mm Technical Pencil. The image was created on a medium tooth drawing surface, found in a leatherbound, Tara sketchbook. The original image is 8.5 x 11 inches. I have no idea how long it took, as it sat unfinished for many years. It was started in 1996, and finished in 2004.
