HISTORY:
Passenger trams are a rather ubiquitous sight at airports, starports, starbases, military bases, space stations, and aboard particularly large space craft. Wherever it is necessary to move people you will find a variety of motor vehicles and trams. Garland Motors has long produced quality automobiles, and the Garland Passenger Tram is one of the most common people movers around. While it is essentially an Electric Powered Tow Motor connected to a wheeled set of bleachers, it can quickly move pilots from their billets to the flight deck, or passengers from the terminal to their shuttle, or take a group of people anywhere they want to go. The Garland Passanger tram is in widespread use throughout the human expanse, and has survived numerous design iterations spanning decades. Among it's many features are it's LED brake and parking lights, variable intensity headlamps, Hazard lights, and reinforced towing hitch for towing several Garland Motors Passenger Trailers (essentially the tram without the tow motor) to create longer passenger trains for extreme high traffic areas such as colony cylinders. Military models of the tram tend have a reinforced structure, though they are still open air vehicles.
