Well that doesn't sound too bad. I would hate to have testing done just to comply with a dress code.

Boy do I have a long list of stuff to discuss with the new manager. A lot has to do with my duties and others are general store things. The most recent addition to the former list is learning that the weekly sale will now be Sunday-Saturday instead of the Wednesday-Tuesday that I'm used to. This means that the sale, the new smart buys (the warehouse TPRs Temporary Price Changes) and the price changes are all on the same day. I'm hoping that the way they handle this is the sale comes first, then the price changes then the TPRs get hung over the next day or two depending on how many there are. (They will already be scanning at the registers.) The current boss has always required the the new TPRs ALL be hung on Sunday even if it's the Super Smart Buy batch which is well over 1000 tags usually. To accomplish that I've had to have other people helping hang them and that causes some problems.

Hi there, just drop in to tell you that I'm back working on my biblical project again. Pauline's "Elisabeth" outfit is almost finished. So stay tuned.

Sorry for the long delay. I'm going through a hard time. But now I learned to deal with it. Don't worry. I'm pretty fine. No one is ill. It's just about unsure employment.

Glad to see you back here Maja, and sorry to hear about the employment issues. That's never easy to deal with.

Glad to hear your back, and still working on the biblical project. You were doing really nice work. I know how rough the employment thing can be. If you are looking for a job, I will through this one thought out there, because the same thing recently happened to both me and a friend. After tons of time searching and applying on the millions of job sites out there, we both ended up finding actual jobs on craigslist. Just something to keep in mind.

Thank you all a lot for your kind sympathy and hints. Life will go on somehow. I'm not willing to immerse in self-pity or even depression. I just had a weak phase. But I'm a fighter, so I'm back now. Problems where made to get solved, not to let them rule us.

At last the biblical out fit for Pauline got finished and uploaded, today. Hope you enjoy it.

And I hope so much that you are all fine. :balloon03:

Does any of you know how Skylab is doing? I noticed she didn't write here for 11 days. I'm a bit concerned if she's doing well...

As for me I have new work in progress:

No, I haven't seen Sky either. Usually she comes in once a day, or at least a couple times a week to say hi, or post a link to a freebie she found. Hopefully, she's OK.

As for your new project, that's looking good. :)

Hi Maja...and Miss B :) Maja, your biblical outfit for Pauline looks absolutely wonderful! I just realized early this morning that it was posted on ShareCG.

I've had to reduce my schedule significantly this year after unplanned surgery in October. Every time I think I'm ready to start doing 3D again, I find out I don't yet have the stamina to stick with it long hours. That's partly due to side effects of follow up medication. I'm not sure how long I'll have to stay on it, but looks like I will have to wait until that phase of treatment is passed. I can only take about an hour or two at the computer before I'm nodding off...and these issues with concentration are definitely problematic for working on long projects. But I do try to stop by the forum at least once a week and cheer others on, or share a link to a freebie at times when I'm checking through my email.

Again, Maja, the outfit for Pauline is so very well done, and I'm glad you have another project started. Sorry you've been having a rough time regarding employment, and you're right, what we do with challenges often determines our outcome. The level of detail in your 3D work indicates you are by nature a problem solver, and I pray that gift for seeing solutions will serve you well during this time.

Terre, glad you're navigating the transition on your job without problems. Hope all remains well.

Have a good day everyone :)

By the way Maja, I've posted announcements for Pauline's Biblical Outfit in my freebie threads, and I used your promo render. Folks at the RDNA thread are especially enthusiastic whenever you post new work.

Hi skylab, I'm so glad to read from you, at last! :snoopydance:

Thank you very much for your encouraging words and support. Please, don't quarrel with your health restrictions. It's perfectly okay if you need more resting. Time is there for us to be, but not to force us to be active all the time. In this sense, please, take good care of yourself. I wish you good recovery form your surgery.

Besides, anybody's physical capacities are dwindling as time goes by. That's what I call corrective justice by nature. ;)

Hey Sky, good to see you. Sorry it's taking so long to recover completely, but as the saying goes . . . take it one day at a time.
