Hmm, a parent who thinks...no...a parent that KNOWS that their child is just the best! I would say I've never heard of that before but to find another parent like that I just have to look in the mirror.
I always knew that I had one great accomplishment as soon as I held that tiny baby in my hand. The fact that his first word was "Daddy" and not Mama has nothing to do it.
I wrote her a song when she was 4 months old:
When you were born the angels sang
A song of love straight to my heart
I knew that instant all was right
That I first held you in my arms
A father's love is sometimes hard to see
But I'd shout to the world all you mean to me
Across the world and seven seas
Daddy's little girl you'll always be
Search your heart you'll find it's true
Can't take my love away from you
You've spun my heart into a whirl
'Til the end of time, You're daddy's little girl
There's more, but I got tired of typing.
It's been recorded if anyone wants to hear it.
