hahaha I've just been awarded the Addicted award (I already knew I was, the site went down for me last week for approx an 1 and half and I was already going into withdrawals :D)

I'd hate that Satira! The place I contract for was only approx 7 mins away depending on traffic but they recently moved and now its around 35 mins (when not in peak traffic) I hate it, I think I've been late nearly every day because I can't judge how bad the traffic is going to be)

Oh, I am SUCH an idiot!

I mentioned how I had tried and tried to create a Fit Diva morph for the Nouvelle Aube conforming clothing. And no matter what I tried, I kept getting the error that the target geometry has wrong number of vertices. Didn't matter that all I was doing was scaling in Silo, or whether I used the original obj, the final Silo scene, exported the obj from Poser. Nothing worked. Every single time, wrong number of vertices.

I even tried just scaling it in Poser and exporting the object scaled and positioned to fit Diva.

Well, there is a rather simple reason for why I was having sooo much trouble. And, it had nothing at all to do with how I was getting the obj to morph or what I was doing to it in Silo.

I'm so used to loading Morph Targets for PROPS, I was using Object, Load Morph Target instead of ... Figure, Load Full Body Morph.

/groan.

So ... now I have Fit Diva morphs in the Nouvelle Aube Booties.

Now to see if I can get a Fit Diva morph in the Nouvelle Aube Tights.

Oh I know the name of THAT game. We had no TV, phone or internet service for about 4 hours a couple of weeks ago because a cut was accidentally made in one of my IP's lines. I actually had to sit on the couch with a book. I usually only do that late at night before going to sleep. Sheesh, in the middle of the day??? What is the world coming to?

Normally, I exit the parking garage on Locust Street and turn right onto S Juniper Street. That can be a bit difficult because there are two narrow lanes on Locust Street, and drivers in Philadelphia aren't the most considerate. Both Locust and S Juniper are one way streets ... as are most streets in Center City. Locust is a major street, while S Juniper is a minor side street.

The other exit from the parking garage is on S Juniper, but because S Juniper has a stop sign and Locust doesn't, it's hard to get through the S Juniper / Locust intersection. Really, the only reason to drive down S Juniper is to get to Spruce, one street over, which is headed west.

For some majorly ridiculous reason, closures for street work start during the evening commute. When I finally got out of the parking garage and to the S Juniper / Locust intersection, I discovered Locust was closed for what looked to be street work past 13th. Needless to say, no one could turn right onto Locust off S Juniper, and all traffic on Locust had to turn right onto S Juniper. Unfortunately, a city bus was stuck on Locust at the Locust Street exit because until hell freezes over, it was never going to be able to turn onto S Juniper ... then again, S Juniper is too narrow for a city bus anyway.

Really poor planning on the part of the city. I'd have thought SEPTA would know of street closures to advise their drivers what streets to avoid. There should also have been detour signs at Broad and Locust.

Lookie ... I drew you a pretty picture (Ok. So Google Maps did all the hard work. I just added some text and arrows)

Me at 3am this morning "why can't I connect?! Why!!!", turn off data, turn on data, turn off phone, turn on phone, "phew!, that was scary!" . 5 mins without internet at 3am and I am a train wreck.

Holy shmoley, that's a stuff up, Satira! And in a city that size. Puts waiting at the stop sign at the top of the hill for three cars to go by into proportion (three cars is a traffic jam up here ;) )

And will you be releasing the Diva fits, Satira? I really do hope so. I've tried to get the dress to fit her and I just can't make the boobs go away.

Definitely poor planning on their part Satira. The only time I ever got caught in a traffic jam where I worked was when the President, and his cavalcade of cars, were driving through the tunnel into Manhattan from the airport in New Jersey. I think that happened twice in all the years I worked downtown, but it really made a mess, so I can empathize.

Oh yeah. Being without internet even for just 5 minutes does make one a train wreck!

Yes. I will release the Diva Fits for Nouvelle Aube Clothing and also Clarette Rose Dress and Cloche and the Eton Crop.

I have to reboot my computer, so here is a quick screenshot

Ooh! Guess what! Guess what!

I now know how to add a custom Diva morph and have it follow the Diva morph in Dawn! So, now the Dawn/Diva clogs auto fit Dawn whether she's full Diva, part Diva, or no Diva.

It was so silly. Name the custom morph plDiva. Such a simple thing. The clogs look ever so much better this way.

It was Esha's page ... Some Facts about Morphs ... that turned on the light.

This is how I did it.

I loaded the Dawn sized Clogs and didn't conform them.
Set Scale to 70%
xScale to 102%
zScale to 90%

Then repositioned them by adjusting xTran and zTran.

Then I exported each clog as a new obj

Export Options:
Include existing groups in polygon groups
Preserve existing material names

upload_2016-6-11_17-22-57.png

Then with each Clog selected, click Figure, then Load Full Body Morph

upload_2016-6-11_17-24-20.png

Locate the exported obj and change the Label to plDiva

upload_2016-6-11_17-25-53.png

Voila!

Esha's instructions said to strip any colons and numbers after the Figure and BODY for the new morph
valueOpDeltaAdd
Figure 1
BODY
plDiva

But, even though I didn't do that on the clogs, they still follow the plDiva morph. Sooo ... I'm not sure if that changed with later versions of Poser. I'll find that out when it's being beta tested, huh?

After that, it's just saving the new CR2 and running Toybox Optimize and then cleaning up the code.

Easy Peasy! I'm such a happy camper!

Yay! That's great news Satira...funnily enough that trick with auto following is what I do in DS also. I name the custom morph plDiva and it replaces the autogenerated morph. The way DS is set up it only creates morphs if one isn't already there. Good to know that it can be used in Poser also...
