What Is Your Favorite TV Show?

I really like the Flash, I think it's a well done show. I like how he's sort of rounding up a JLA sort of team, kinda like what Arrow does. Now that Supergirl will be joining the CW it will be cool to see crossovers. I guess the CW is really the place to find all of the hero kind of shows! lol

Even Castle and Grimm have lost a lot of their appeal for me. I'm not even sad Castle wasn't renewed. Bones is even a shadow of itself. I still miss Sweets and feel for me that was the turning point.

Funny how some shows stay so strong their entire run and others ... fizzle.

They even brought Constantine over from NBC after NBC cancelled the show. Sadly, they didn't continue the show either, which is a shame because one of the Easter eggs they let loose was that Det. Jim Corrigan in one episode was going to become the Spectre.

I still like Grimm.

Arrow makes sense he has a support team as he doesn't have any powers. I'm not sure if Flash has one in the comics.

Well I'm a NetFlix guy so I'm behind on all the shows by a season but I don't car. I can binge watch without commercials! ;)

Flash does team up. In the 70's his coming was split... the main feature was just Barry doing his thing but in the backup there were often team ups with either Arrow or Green Lantern or Plastic Man iirc....

And the Flash has always had partners as in the Justice League etc. (I just wasn't sure if he had a non-super team like he does in the show)

I still love my favorite characters, but I don't like the current storyline. While I wasn't a Juliette hater, I wish Eve (and Trubel) would go away.

No, that's all new but as it's turning out most of the Star Labs team are all being imbued with powers! lol

Actually, not quite. John Wesley Shipp, who plays Barry's father in this version of the Flash, actually played the Flash in a tv series back in the 90s. He didn't have a full team like this current Flash does, but he did have a scientist, named Dr. Tina McGee, helping him understand his powers, and she worked for a company called Mercury labs. If any of that sounds familiar, it's because both a Tina McGee and Mercury labs have appeared in this current series.

And I thought that Cisco was written for this show but I was wrong, Vibe existed before now (but in the comics it was his brother that was Reverb, not him from another earth)

Cisco was part of a JLA team that formed after Aquaman disbanded the original JLA. I have to check but I think that Vixen was also a member of this JLA. I know the Martian Manhunter was, but he doesn't exist on Flash's earth yet. Also, some online friends and I were talking about how since the Crisis has already been mentioned on the Flash, it is possible that they might merge Earths to have everybody on the same planet.

Oh wait, that was you guys!

I have been dipped in this thread in a little while now… Been handling a very bad back spasm so I've just been off quietly watching TV and leaning against ice… And watching all eight years-again-of Stargate SG1. I'm done with that now and since I just got season three of beauty and the beast I'll be re-watching all three years of that one. It took a long time for season two to come along after season one of that one… So I probably don't remember some parts. I love re-watching everything and then watching the new stuff in the latest season on DVD. :)

Extraordinary
They tap comic book writers all the time. Kevin Smith just directed an episode of the Flash last week. And the late Dwayne McDuffie wrote many of the episodes of Justice league Unlimited.

And to be honest, I couldn't stand Erica Durance as Lois Lane.

Of course that hurts as I'm an Eclark1894 fan. Thanks for your help over at the Rendo forum, EC. Of course I disagree but not all men like beautiful women portraying their favorites. It's as if people have issues with someone being gorgeous AND intelligent. I had issues with Gal Gadot until I saw Dawn of Justice and now I'm a Gal Gadot fan! I totally love her!

My Lois Lane rankings.
1. Erica Durance (Smallville)
2. Noel Neille (The first series)
3. Teri Hatcher (The Adventures of Lois and Clark)
4. Amy Adams (Current)
5. Dana Delaney (animated series)
6. Margot Kidder (Early seventies. She was nutty but it was a kinder gentler time)

Oh and Dwayne did an excellent on JLA Unlimited! Did you see "The Death of Superman"? Kevin Smith's thoughts on the matter are priceless!

I used to like Bones and even NCIS way, way back in their earlier years. I lost interest in both some time ago for a variety of reasons (with NCIS it's partly too many spin offs and similar shows, partly that in one season they reversed a lot of the character growth they had established for McGee and Tony both...like they reset the characters to factory default...didn't like that)

NCIS is my favorite show. Only show I liked better/longer was the original Law & Order.

As for the NCIS spin-offs, I like NCIS Los Angeles, but still haven't quite come to grips with NCIS New Orleans, but I think that's because I don't particularly care for Scott Bakula.

L&O also had several spin-offs, but the only one I liked was SVU, then again, I don't like Vincent D'Onofrio either, so no surprise.

The thing about NCIS is that NCIS is a spin-off itself from JAG. I used to LOVE JAG. And if you're interested, JAG is on Youtube. The thing that irks me about NCIS: NOLA though is that one of the actors was on JAG. I think it would have been a stroke of brilliance if they had brought the character she played then, BACK as an NCIS agent.

wow I never new that eclark. I like JAG when I catch it every now and again early mornings (like around 4am).
