Poem:
The beautiful Unicorn sat upon the shelf,
The Unicorn sat there alone, all by itself;
A glaze of Mother of pearl with a burgandy hue upon the skin,
The mane and tail had sparkles of gold glittering within;
Lovingly placed on a stand of silky gold,
Such beauty for the eyes to behold;
Then a tiny faery chanced to pass by,
She sighed deeply, and said "Oh my";
Saying, "This glorious creature deserves to live",
And with a wave of her wand, life was hers to give;
With glee and joy, the Unicorn began to dance,
Back and forth across the shelf it did prance;
Then it's lovely feathered wings of shiny gold,
Stretched and quivered as they began to unfold;
Thanking the faery, the Unicorn lifted into the air,
And flew far away to a magic land somewhere;
And so now you know, for now you can see,
How for this Unicorn, true life came to be:
