Very pleased with what I got done in terms of 3D...so much I should have done for school and didn't. Didn't even open my laptop until Sunday...2 days in though and I wish I was back on holidays! Not so much the kids more the politics...

Sheesh! Well, I'm glad you're pleased with your holiday accomplishments. Take them out and give them a wee polish anytime you want to brain someone with a heavy book.

Hey everyone :) It's a right nippy night here and I am wrapped up cozy in my blankies. But I'm feeling for my sis down in the Waikato, it's only 5C/41F down there...brrrrr! It's 13C/55F here. Tomorrow I'm going to check and start the fire up to make sure all is well with it. Time to start stocking up on diesel too.

Hi Terre :) We surely have traded temps! 81F is 27C and that is WARM for us, really warm. It's around 20c/68F today, not sure yet what the overnight prediction is. Last night was our coldest yet and that's why I'm checking the fire today. No need to sit wrapped in blankets when I have a perfectly good heat source...I just never thought I would be using it in mid April!

And hey, Miss B, didn't see you there :)

We've been around the 18-20C mark all week but today we went to about 27C...I don't consider that warm Lorraine that's just a nice day! Hot is when you get to the 40C mark.

But you live in that crazy country, Pen, where the temps never know how to be to be temperate for more than five minutes! Australia, the land of extremes ;) It has never ever got to 40C here, it seldom gets to 30! And if it does we talk about it for days. Tonight's temp is the same as last night's and I now know I can light the fire if necessary as I checked it out today and it's all good.

Good morning. :)
This area doesn't know how to be temperate either. LOL
40C seems to be around 105F which means we'll be hitting that sort of temp in mid June. As mild as this winter was overall it could be sooner. Not looking forward to that.

Hi Terre :)
That temp sounds as bad as in Aussie! Does it get higher that that like they do? 40C was the hottest I experienced on my visit and it was HOT! Like walking into an oven.

That temp here in NY is like walking into a sauna, because of all the humidity we get as well. We've had days where the humidity has rivaled the temperature. Thank goodness it doesn't stay that bad the whole summer.

Out where Terre is, and where my family is in Arizona, it gets hotter, but the humidity is much lower, so not as bad as long as you don't sit/stand directly in the sun for too long.

Ha Lorraine! 5C/41F is hot when winter doesn't want to go away! We've been below freezing a few times this month. Apparently. Mother Nature is having a fit over climate change and has forgotten April is SPRING!

It does look like she may be over her fit though as we're expecting rather nice weather for the next ten days. And Monday is supposed to be one degree shy of 80F !!! (26 C for you Celsius people).
