YES, I saw her, her clothes and poses in the store. I have to say Satira, you do some gorgeous promo images.

Pen, it does get hotter here. It usually gets to 110F a few times during the summer but as Miss B said I'm in a semi arid region so humidity isn't as bad.

Thanks Pen, Miss B, and Terre!

I've been working on Stephen, when Tsuki will let me work on the computer. But then I got distracted by an old V4 character. I wanted to see if I could turn the Poser hair into a hair prop. But I got distracted from that by wanting to update the dynamic dress she was wearing for Dawn!

Queen of Distractions ... that I am!

Distraction is my middle name! I pick up the phone to ring someone and an hour later I go "what did I pick the phone up for?" I have got to stop leaving the phone browser open!

And Miss B is spot on, Satira, you do do amazing promos! Gorgeous in fact.

Bloody cold here again today. I'm rugged up, wearing multiple layers and thick socks in my slippers. The fire is checked out and ticketty-boo but I don't have enough diesel yet to run it. Guess what I'm buying Wednesday?!

Yep, diesel and lots of it, Miss B. My fire is a marine diesel heater from Canada. Cheap as chips to run and I don't have to chop firewood. I call it a fire cos it's got flames I can see and looks like a pot belly stove :) I love it!

Oh it does and I can have a wee kettle on the top for my cuppas. It would be going right now if I'd remembered to get a container of diesel last week. I keep telling myself "it's not that cold" but I'm lying, it is!! I am a woose.

I don't like it very cold either, and the temps don't have to be very low for it to feel cold. I know for about a month before we get heat in the Fall, and a month after it's turned off in the Spring, I feel cold all the time, especially at night when I'm trying to warm up so I can get to sleep. I hate having to bundle up with several layers and 2 blankets. That's just too much, and isn't all that comfortable.

I didn't realise you have no control over your annual heating times. That is not nice at all. At least I'm cold because of my own forgetfulness, but to be cold because someone ELSE decided it was warm enough?! That would go down like a lead balloon. So you still have that ahead of you or has it passed?

Ugh. I understand why apartment buildings do that but as someone who gets cold easily it would be a problem for me too. One thing I discovered that helps me in the winter is one of those little lap warmer rugs that is fake wool on the underside. I put it under my blankets (as the closest layer to me) diagonally so one tip is at my neck and the opposite one is covering my toes. Of course since this means I'm not using a top sheet I have to wash blankets every week but we do own our own washer and dryer so it's not a big a hassle as it would be for people who have to use a communal laundry room or go to a laundromat.

Something that's become very popular here are microfleece sheets. They are so warm and toasty you'd think there was an electric blanket going. Makes going to bed a whole lot more inviting.

Yeah. I'm not at all crazy about cold. But I'm also not at all crazy about heat. Spring and Autumn (when they behave like Spring and Autumn) are perfect. But it's annoying and uncomfortable! when Winter or Summer refuses to give up their hold.

Microfleece is fabulous.

Hi Satira :) I am going to put my very tired body to bed in my microfleece sheets. Catch yous later :inverted:

Actually it's not the choice of our co-op to do that, it's a NY City ordinance that we must comply with. So it's the City Council that's to blame. I don't know how they enforce it with private homes, or if they have a different ordinance for them, but co-ops and condos get inspected regularly, and we certainly can't afford to be fined if caught "not following the rules". :(
