Sounds like a good plan to me.Since Acana is on the Recommended list for dry food, I'm not going to stress out above finding a moist cat food for Tsuki. I'll just keep adding water to a bowl of kibble and call it "gourmet"

The vegetable gums are there as thickeners. Since my husband needs our cat to be grain free I'd rather see one of those on the list than wheat flour.
Roof is done.
Must be different down here cos no way can companies falsify their products...the authorities would have their guts for garters! And in a small market like ours, they would go under, toot sweet.
What I find so frustrating is how companies change their formulas without any notice. Just suddenly, your cat won't touch a food or it makes her sick. Then you find out ingredients that didn't use to be in the food is now in the food.
Ultimately, I don't trust ANY supermarket brand anymore. Not after all the research I did a few years ago and discovered what utter crap some of these companies put in their food. Or ... how so many of them falsify the ingredient list.
See, that didn't take that long at all. Congrats on the new roof.Roof is done.
Legally, they are not SUPPOSED to falsify it here, either! But many of them do, because they have learned thanks to our idiots in office, that money will buy them out of everything. Including legal repercussions.
Wow! Our chaps would have you up on a charge if you tried that one, AND shut them down.
These are the ingredients in some of the highest recommended cat foods. Note: any list that includes Purina or any of the other popular "name brand" cat foods isn't to be trusted in my opinion.

Shoot. I have to go to work now. But I have a couple more reviews to look at when I get home.
I was looking at the list of ingredients that Satira posted and thinking wow...there is a lot of added stuff in there which would worry me. I can't afford the more expensive brands of food here but what I buy looks and smells good and doesn't seem to be as heavily processed as those. My cat seems to enjoy eating them and no one so far has had rashes.Must be different down here cos no way can companies falsify their products...the authorities would have their guts for garters! And in a small market like ours, they would go under, toot sweet.
Hi Pen I wonder if it's because we have smaller populations, perhaps it's easier to keep on top of it.
Seliah, there is a lot of corporate interference here but not with the food chain. That is sacrosanct, people and animals. What seems to be happening here is a lot of our coastline and farms being sold into foreign ownership when it shouldn't. That's gonna be the cause of the revolution here, that and unaffordable housing as a result.
I think that might be part of it but I also think that both our countries are more Westminster style governments which also has an effect on this. We don't have lobby groups to the extent that American has and I don't think they are quite as powerful as in America.Hi Pen I wonder if it's because we have smaller populations, perhaps it's easier to keep on top of it.

We've had a lot of investment from overseas which people have complained about also...
Seliah...I hope that someone like Sanders gets in the alternative is just too scary.
Does having the different state governments cause problems for the federal government? We have one parliament which would be like your federal and then local body government. No state governments.
It causes problems in that we are the most heavily governed country. My personal preference would be to reduce it to two levels of government but it isn't going to happen.
And now we will all go back to talking about cat food before we get in trouble
