I don't think I've ever seen that phone. It's certainly unusual enough for me to remember if I had.

I don't recall ever having the tape cassette answering machine, but it looks familiar, so I'm wondering if someone I know had one back then.

Remember seeing the first phone store with neat phones? Before that they came in about three different styles and five colors.

Remember these?? When I was about 8,9, or ten, marbles were my life. I always had at least one in my pockets somewhere. :) I especially liked the glass marbles.

Remember her???? Honestly, I didn't either, but she had one of the best songs I've ever heard. Ladies and Gentlemen, Miss Freda Payne.
Now, Guess the song. :sneaky:

That's Freda Payne, and I remember her song Band of Gold.

She was also an actress on the Nutty Professor II, though I don't remember her as an actress.

Yes, I remember those. I started at my job in 1964, and back then, that's the type of equipment our Telephone Room had, though much smaller, as back then the firm hadn't started growing in size yet.

I was six years old in 1964. I remember the first time I heard an operator tell me that my mother had hung up the phone on me, I cried. I thought that meant somebody had crucified her.
