Kewl! :D

I suspect folks who never played Dominoes wouldn't get that.

Yeah, I haven't played it since I was a small child...and didn't play more than a half dozen times then.

I played dominoes as a kid, many moons ago, and it was a popular game in some regions in UK pubs and might still be for all I know.

Oh yes, I remember lining them up in a spiral, and then flicking the outer most one with my nail to watch them tumble down. :D

Someone taught me how to play dominos a couple years ago. As a game it's just too easy. They are much more fun to line up and watch them fall.

Probably why I never played it much, either. My father had to have all the rules just so, and I'd rather build things and then push them over.....

Hey Stezza, I've got another one for you. Have you ever played Cribbage? I actually found my Cribbage set the other day while looking for something else, and now that we're talking about games we've played, I wondered if you folks Down Under ever played it.

I bet you loved "building" with Legos. ;)
We had tinkertoys and an erector set when I was a kid. Legos were several decades later. Though I borrowed the whole set my neighbor was going to sell on eBay to have a grand building blow out before he sold them. (Yes, as an adult...)

wow .. you are aging well.. Tinker toys started in 1914 and Lego in 1932... ;)
I had the toys left over from my siblings, who were much older. Though I think it was a new set of Tinker toys that I had. (I'm 1950s vintage.)

Someone recently bought me a Lego representation of Sydney with bridge and opera house. I was a little surprised but I have to admit , despite my age, I had a good couple of hours fun building it.

I LOVED Tinkertoys! And Spirograph and Little Kiddles.

Anyone here played Risk? I spent many an hour in my youth playing that. Got into a game with my brother and his friends that was was going on for two days straight. Then he read the rules and turned out we missed one important rule and the game finished quickly after that.
