I am SO glad you're back!

Hahaha! I like the goose one.

Mmm, maybe it's time to pick on another profession. Maybe accountants. But lawyers are so much FUN!

There are a ton of lawyer joke sites on the internet. I gleaned the best of those to make my lists...

I had to remodel that table and monitoring station. When I tried to UV map the other one it looked like a bird cage someone dropped into the grand canyon. So this set is really low poly; less than 2K for both models. I used control edges instead of subdividing and made sure there were no stretched or squashed UV's anywhere. I am now fully satisfied with this one and can put it away until I am ready to render the scene with the bad guy and all the other stuff that goes into it.

Next is the old factory. I have to model the exterior, the main floor and the basement.

I am stopping at the end of each scene I am writing and creating scene markers identifying who and what are in each scene. I check Poser for anything I may already have. What I don't have I am modeling. I want everything modeled and ready to go when I start the renders so I don't have long periods of time between episodes when this thing finally goes live.

This latest render's looking Rokket. I like it better than the previous version.

I think your creation process is a good one. That way your readers will enjoy the episodes without long waits.

I think I need to do a human render of Dawn. I had it in my head that she would not have any memories of who she was due to that part of her brain being removed. But I am going to produce a photograph of her and her parents and have my hero try to show it to her in an effort to get her to connect to who she was.

It will be during that scene that we find out if her father was aware of her fate.

There are several layers to it. It started out as such a simple concept, but as I have been working on it things have gotten deeper. I am glad you noticed.

Working on that photograph now. I posed her and I am using a dynamic hair prop that I got of 'rosity. It's pretty thick so it's taking forever in the hair room to do the sim. I might not get to post this pic today. I still have to figure out who I am going to use to play the parents....

Yes simulations always take time, and I can imagine hair would be even longer than cloth. I think that's why I've never used one of the hair products I got at DAZ years ago (can't recall the name) that needed the hair room to sim. Maybe now that I'm more familiar with simulations in the cloth room, I should dig it out and try it. ;)

OK, well I remembered the hair product I was thinking of. It's called Sharon Hair for V4 and Genesis, and it's FiberMesh hair, so now I'm not sure if that needs the hair room or not.

I saw someone talking about FiberMesh and I believe you can use it and get good results in the hair room. I have to go back and check that thread again.

I like this dress. I just made it. This is the start of the photograph. I am using Ryan as the father and I am taking him in the face room to age him.

I think....

Here is the render I am going to turn into a family portrait. On the left is Jessi from Poser 6 with some face room modifications to make her older. Believe it or not, her father is P8 Ryan. You can see in this pic why I don't really like conforming clothing. What you don't see are the efforts I had to make in order to get Jessi's outfit to fit her right. I don't go as far as opening the joint editor but I was tempted.

I have DUSK!!!!

I am going to unzip and install him tomorrow. I am curious to see how he compares to the other male figures I have...

The family portrait WIP is looking good. Look forward to seeing what you come up with using DUSK.
