I wasn't sure what I wanted to do when I started it. I knew I didn't want to make another Dark Knight, but it kept leaning that way. Finally I decided on a hawk. So I will create the costume accordingly.

What I really need are his extra morphs for expressions and such. I really don't want the other characters yet. I will have to see if I can afford his starter pack. And Dawn's too...

EDIT: All these textures are only a temporary thing. I am going to rig the cowl. I am not going to sell this and it's made with his clothing resource, so I guess I will just have to find a use for it.

I thought it looked like the clothing resource, but I like the texture, especially now that I can see it up close.

I created the texture from scratch, but it's a technique I've used before. I have bunch of honeycomb textures that I use for suits like this. I will rework the cowl to look more bird-like, but I am playing with it for now. I modeled a pair of wings, which is something I have never done before. They look like metal fairy wings, so I will redo them. I don't want him to be a mutant, so I am trying to emulate the Falcon from the Avengers. Just not too close.

I may just make my own suit and not use the resource. That way I can post it here and at 'rosity. I just need to name him. Falcon and Hawk are already in the Marvel and DC canon. I don't know of any top level comic characters that use Eagle or any other bird of prey, but I'll look it up and make sure.

I can't post images for the next couple days because we are getting ready to leave port, so no more WIFI. But I will have it back Tuesday here.

I will probably rework the cowl next. I UV mapped it and I am going to create some texture maps. I will have a completed costume to post when I can get my laptop online.
