The Wicked Witch of the North
Apparently, we're at 17.7 inches in Philadelphia, and the blizzard will continue through the night. They anticipate that we will get all the snow this weekend we would normally get in a winter.
So much for the max of 10 inches they expected when the mayor said the storm wouldn't have any impact on the Monday morning commute They haven't been having a lot of success clearing the snow from Center City because of the wind. No way they will have the entire city cleared in one day so unless it is a balmy 60 degrees tomorrow and through the night. What they are expecting is a high of 34 Sunday (2 degrees above freezing) and a low of 20 degrees overnight. Monday's high is expected to be 37, so I expect the roads to be a solid sheet of ice Monday morning.
Tsuki and I are staying nice and warm all bundled up on the couch. Me under the blanket, and her sprawled out on top the blanket. It's so funny how often she sleeps on her back.
The hives are starting to clear up a wee bit on my hands and I have a few patches of clear skin appearing. But, of course, they have spread up my arms ... probably because I've been wearing a toasty warm long sleeved sweatshirt. I'm now wearing a short sleeved tee. Not exactly what the current weather calls for, but anything to keep my arms from overheating!
Very happy to hear you are safe and warm if still itchy. And your wee girl will be such good company during it all.
