That's what I figured, but I have family in Tucson, Arizona, and they don't change their clocks. I wasn't sure how many other states in that area do that.

Good morning, afternoon, and evening! There, I think I covered everyone who posted lately.

Typing hasn't been the easiest thing in the world for me since Friday when I had a flareup of Hives. Now, my hands look like I've been deep sea fishing without any gloves. Not pretty. and rather painful.

I have decided Tsuki is an American Ringtail cat. While the genetic mutation has always existed, it was developed as a breed in San Francisco beginning in 1998. The mutation allows the cat to carry their tail "curled" over their back such as in this picture. Although Tsuki carries her tail straighter than this kitten. The "curly tail" continues to be a natural mutation among cats. So, while she probably wasn't breed for the trait, she definitely has it. And since she was born in America and has the tail ... why not :D

Sadly New Mexico, like most states, makes us change our clocks twice a year.

Gidday! That covers it all, don't it ;)

An overcast day in Opua with the prospect of showers this arvo. Might get a tad damp going ashore to deliver the UPS and do mine shopping but a little water never hurts...unless you're a phone ;)

Hope those hives clear up quick, Satira. Itching has caused me severe stress in the past and is something I would only wish on my worst enemies.

I've got Rodrigo, his mats, Dusk's new head morphs and Ken's Moths Vol 2 to buy as soon as I get my mitts on the UPS dosh. Had some other things in the cart too but have decided to settle for these four this week. Must remember to take a flash drive ashore for the download. Exciting!!

To top it off ... I had some patches on my legs that had been itching a week or so ago and I'd scratched at them through my pant legs. Unfortunately, that wasn't such a bright idea. So, I've been putting antibiotic cream on the patches and they seemed to be healing. But today when I got home, the patch on the back of my leg looked terribly red. So ... I may have cellulitis ... again!

I'm going to try to get in to see the doctor tomorrow.

Ohhhh noooo Satira. Not pleasant. Hope the doctor can give you something to help clear it all up.

Delivered the UPS but purchaser wasn't home. I left it there as 1/ I know her and 2/ I just could not be bothered taking it back to the boat. So my spendy, spendy was curtailed but I still got Rodrigo and my moth(s)! But we won't even TALK about the exchange rate, ouch!

Sure is, Miss B, down to 62c now :(

But on a brighter note, we have a cracker day in Opua and it is HOT! Not Aussie hot, but hot enough to be painful opening the aluminium deck hatch, even the Perspex was hot. And hot enough to generate a sea breeze. I'm going to be swimming this arvo for sure. Nice!

I went swimming once off the side of a boat when I was in Hawaii many (many) years ago. That was fun. ;)

For as much as we depend on the sea... I was the one weirdo who could never get a good grasp of swimming, and would not get into ocean-deep water without a dang life jacket... LMAO

Much respect to the folks who can swim in ocean currents... I can't do it, no matter how many times I've tried to learn!

I'm really careful swimming off the boat, only going forward and back to the boarding ladder if the tide is running hard and only swimming away from her at slack tides. I'm not a strong swimmer and I had a scare last year where I swam to the stern and had a hell of a job getting back to the ladder. So now I'm more aware of my (in)abilities and stay safe.

Me neither. In my case part of the reason is a phobia.

Yes - same here, Terre. I was almost drowned twice in open water by the time I was 10 years old. The second one landed me in the hospital for some time. I never quite fully got comfortable in deep water again. I love the ocean, I just don't get in the water without a life jacket. ;)

Being safe is the biggest thing, yes. Life jackets are a wonderful thing for those who need them. Both my husband and my daughter are very strong swimmers and love the open waters for it. LOL

I understand you both. I nearly drowned in a swimming pool deep end when I was 17 and would not get out of my depth after that. When I was in my early thirties I got so hot on our boat that I thought I was going to die. I tied my son's blowup lilo to my arm and jumped in the water. And I floated! Been a water baby ever since :)
