Yeah, that looks like Mr. Ziffel...haha. That show is a trip, always makes me chuckle. I'm so glad that the classic shows are re-appearing, even on satellite. That's where the Gomer Pyle idea came from...he happened to be on when I started creating the faces.

Okay...another tutorial. Since it took me so long to learn how to save out facial poses, I'm sharing the info here. This same info applies to saving body poses, and animated poses, except step four and five may be different, according to whether it's a multi-frame animated pose, or a simple single frame full body pose.

Sent you a PDF by email also, so it would be easier to reference later when this page would be a challenge to find :)

...and yes, I followed your link and downloaded the patio furniture for DS...it should export nicely as .obj files...thanks for the link :)

Wow, that render looks good Linda...the lighting is nice, similar to superfly :)

And Janet...that hat is a trip...haha!! I take it you'll be doing the queen soon :) Don't forget to do the queen's wave...haha.

I was thinking of this old commercial when I created the Doc American Gothic pose. I was never satisfied with the lady in the scene, so maybe one of you can do a better job with her :)

Good morning. Thank you for the tutorial on how you save faces; they are very helpful to me. If I can get Freddie to look halfway decent at least I now know how I can share it with others.

I think the news of Rendo buying Poser is good news...I'm cautiously optimistic about its future. I hope that future upgrades will take into consideration the hobbyist like me who doesn't really want to use all the technical (hard) stuff but just wants to make a pretty picture. I would love for the material room and cloth room to be made more user friendly. I would love to be able to plop a mesh into a scene right where I need it to be instead of changing cameras and playing hide and seek to find it. Something that makes the hair as pretty as what comes out of Studio would be nice too. I look at the deer and cat with LAMH presets in the store and I'm jealous that Poser doesn't have something comparable.

I have Blumi, Bong, Doctor Pitterbill, Folbat, Folde, Folka, Fon, Frankie, Hein, Kali and Kelm, Kena, Koit, Kramp, Loik Elf, Madragora, Merpal, Purks, Puntig Kaalkopje, Reipus, Teo, Utla, Vila, Yweeb, Zlata and Zwoggel from Nursoda's bunch.

Mick's hair looks great! I used Goldtassel's Crazy Male Hair. I collect a lot of hair models...and Nursoda figures and etc., etc. I think I must be a Runtime Hoarder. *smile* Sky, I am still studying your Runtime photo to see how I want to revamp my own Runtime to work for me.

I'm really liking The Construct using seanchnasaigh's materials and though I know I must have known about it before I've rediscovered that the Ground has morphs! Off to play some more before my crew wakes up.

I just wanted to share my ShareCG page...I haven't uploaded anything to it in 9 years but it has two texture sets and lots of Photoshop graphics. Looking at my page...I follow Sky. *smile*
ShareCG - danidh's Gallery

I also created fonts at one time...mostly dingbats made with Dover images. You can find them here and there on different font download sites.
Dani Foster Herring - 32 free fonts - FontSpace

I guess even when I'm dead and gone my fonts and graphics will continue to still live on the web. *smile*

Good morning Dani :) I was about to catch some sleep, and noticed you came on, so I thought I'd leave a quick note. Your list of Nursoda characters looks similar to mine...I've been collecting them for years. The only unfamiliar name I see is "Purks"...is that a character I've not yet seen?

Yes, Janet did a great job on the Mick Jagger hair!

If you do decide to do a major overhaul of your runtime, you could always do one category at a time...to keep from having your head explode...haha. I started with my most frequently used stuff, and slowly expanded it. In my case, I started with Nursoda's stuff, and my own poses, and then Materials and Fire and Water (since I always had trouble finding what I needed).

Yes, the ground morphs on the Construct are neat...I use the desert and blue sky frequently, especially when I'm beta testing for Janet, since it keeps the scenes light weight and easy to render. If the Construct could be expanded to include background, horizon hills, and more morphing options for the ground plane, that would be cool...and of course, more scene and lighting options, like night skies.

I was just over at Rendo checking the forum, making sure nobody has come to blows yet over there (haha), and swung by the free stuff, and noticed that there are more freebies by Elleque than I first realized. If you go to her free stuff, and scroll to the bottom of the page, she has rigged toon animals for free download, in addition to some props.

Oh, and thanks for leaving the link to your free stuff too. I'll browse through your gallery when I get up. My eyes are needing rest. I've been render testing boats on stormy seas for Forester this evening...so I've had a busy day that started early. Have a good morning (or if it's evening for you)....I'm east coast, so it's very early morning here.

I'll catch you on the next go round :)

I'm in Maryland. I've always been an early riser but have been getting up around 2:00 a.m. for many, many years now. Having a house full of dogs, cats and children I needed to have some time to myself, to think, pray, clean and play. With the kids grown (along with my youngest, my 24 year old twins are still home) I still use the mornings to get the bulk of my stuff done.

Yes, Elleque has some really cute toons. I use Scampixie Pranx 2 and her little bird, Wabisuke, a lot in my renders. Elleque and I actually correspond by email a couple of times a week. She is very sweet and very talented.

My image using The Construct is rendering now...it will take a bit but I'll post it when I'm finished. I hope some of your ideas for expanding it come to fruition. It would really help with my landscape/seascape images...sort of like RDNA's TerraDome which I have but very rarely use.

And Purks should be Murks...typo. It's a fuzzy dandelion and I think I got it on Nursoda's website as a freebie. He sure does like those F, K and M names! LOL

Hey Terre :) I'm finally crawling out. Trying to make up my mind if I'm making a run to the post office today or tomorrow. A friend of mine likes the same Henley night shirts to wear around the house as I do...and she loves green....and a recent order for her birthday has a green and a peach as a combo, and she's sending me the peach, since I love peach...and I have the same set, so I'm sending her my green, so she will have two green and I'll have two peach. Confused yet? haha...anyway, I have to make a trip to the post office to mail her green Henley.

Eating breakfast and trying to get myself awake. Feels more like a sleepy day :)

Good morning! Well, here's the render. Campy horror type image using Horror from the Deep which I picked up at DAZ on a Fast Grab. I thought I had used the terrain morphs to give the water a ripply texture around the monster but it looks like it only shows up behind the boat house. I really like the materials for The Construct...I wish he would make more. *smile*
Hope you all have a great day!!
