Lyne is in the Hospital!

You would think a place doing tests on people with lung ailments would have wheelchairs. What, do they want their patients collapsing on the trip down the hall?

That's totally weird. I can't believe any health related institution wouldn't have a couple/three wheelchairs around. ~shakes head~

good days and bad, this will be a LONG HARD recovery.... I've had no side effects from the 'oral anti-fungal' medication...I just hope it is working...took weeks for them to figure out ezactly WHICH of the many types of 'normal' lung funguses' it is, to be able to treat it...and THEN they tell me I need to take it with FATTY FOOD???? with my gut I wouldn't touch anything fatty or it would go off on me, so I just hope it's working...will get a blood draw next week to see...I am taking it after I eat a good portion of my pure pureed chicken, not sure how much fat is in that.... and so it goes.... life is pretty limited...can't do art, as I can't hold my head/neck upright anymore... will take forever to get that right...just NOT a good year... sigh.

Good to see you here Lyne, but we understand that recovering fully will take time, so rest up, and here's hoping the blood work results are good.

Can you try something like tuna, or salmon, or swordfish. Those are fatty, but the good kind of fat. I hope the medication works for you!

Sunday afternoon Lyne started coughing up blood.

The hospital & all of the staff, where she was taken, are giving her the best of care & keeping her as comfortable as possible.

She has already had a CT scan & will be undergoing more tests, including a CT scan with contrast dye & a Bronchoscopy, to find out the cause of the bleeding.

It will be awhile before she will be home & she wanted me to let you know & tell you that she misses you.
please get well

There was encouraging news, then silence. I hope she's just taking care of herself and working on the full recovery!
