Just saw this thread. My best wishes to Lyne.
Here's the latest update on Lyne. When a room becomes available at the hospital's PT facility she will be transferred there. She can stay for 20 days & it is totally paid.
She is motivated to work hard, so she can get home where she can be safe.
YAY! I can only imagine how hard this is with her given all her specific needs, to be in a hospital, so it's good to hear they're moving her over to PT as soon as they can.
Send her hugs from me, please, Flint! We miss her .
Oh that's very encouraging news Flint, thanks for letting us know. Knowing Lyne, she'll be up and about at the PT facility before the 20 days are over.
I just talked with Lyne & she is so appreciative of your support & well wishes. She is looking forward to getting back to her comfortable home here at the Hive.
these are great news...send hugs to her from me!
Great news and another step in the right direction my prayers and best wishes that the stay in the PT facility works well for her.
Indeed great news...hang in there Lyne
Thanks for the update. It's good to hear she's on the road to recovery. I hope it's a speedy one.
So good to hear Lyne is on the road to recovery. Looking forward to having her back here in her comfy Hive home.
I heard from Lyne just a few minutes ago. A lung specialist gave her some sobering news that she is still trying to come to terms with. She is going to have to be even more careful taking care of her lungs for the rest of her life. She will have different treatments & equipment that she will need to learn to use, plus more appointments with specialist. The doctor did say she has been recovering well. I don't know if this will change the transfer plans to the PT facility or not.
I know she's INCREDIBLY careful now.
Glad she's recovering well, though.
