As Good As Gold

The African Golden Oriole is found in Africa south of the Sahara Desert. It is a bird of thick bush and other well-wooded areas & is remarkably difficult to see in the dappled yellow and green leaves of the canopy.

Christmas in July

On a Christmas vacation, many many decades ago, the road I was on bordered the North Platte River in Nebraska. In the distance the fog cleared enough for the trees on the far bank of the river to become visible and they all appeared to be loaded with large, dark ornaments. What could they be? Then the fog finished lifting and my second render shows the amazing sight that became clear. There were hundreds or maybe even thousands of bald eagles perched in the trees! It was an impressive memory that I will never forget & I wanted to share it with you on this special 4th of July!

Have a Happy & safe 4th! Thank you for visiting. I appreciate all of your support!
