The Southern Pacific Rattlesnake is endemic to southwestern California and southward into Baja California, Mexico.

The Silver Bush Lupine has silver leaves & long clusters of purple flowers.

The Karner Blue Butterfly is found in some Great Lakes states, small areas of New Jersey, the Capital District region of New York, and southern New Hampshire (where it is the official state butterfly).

Ocean View

The Yellow Tree Lupine provides excellent habitat for birds and butterflies near the California coast.

The Mardon Skipper's habitat extends from the northwestern coast of Washington, through southern Oregon and northern California. It is migratory in behavior, and will fly long distances to seek new breeding areas.

The Santa Cruz Island Buckwheat is Light Pink (in summer) changing to Rust (in late summer). The details in this plant are stunning!

The El Segundo Blue now exists in a handful of populations restricted to coastal dunes in the vicinity of Los Angeles.
