I remember playing Mist when it first came out-- it was so beautiful and mesmerizing
It's amazing how many folks got hooked on the Myst games, as I believe I once read somewhere years ago, that it wasn't expected to be a hit. Of course, that was the mid-90s when I first got it, and back then there really wasn't anything else like it, so it became an overnight sensation. 
I don't think I've even seen a Myst game.

I fell across Myst long before I found 3D art but I remember being thrilled by the scenes and graphics that had been created. While playing the game was fun there was enjoyment in just wandering through the Myst world.
