Oh yeah! Take your time. Enjoy the family. Besides, you never know what idea will come to you as you enjoy your visit. Besides, I think you said it's been years.

Thanks all of you. It's 10pm here in Washington. I am about to go to bed. My mother has been asleep for a couple hours and I took the opportunity to get on Skype with my wife and kids (outside so we don't wake up mom). I am tired now myself.

And Rob, yeah... two and a half years since the last time I was up here. I met my new nephew face to face for the first time. He's a kick in the pants. I am going to be pretty sad when I leave this time around.

Testing the suit for rips and tears. Can't see any. So far, so good. Still need to redo the jacket, but I will when I have time. I waited until mom went to bed to run the cloth sim and render it. I have to go to bed now. I am beat.

Good night, all...

Mom is at work. So I am going to get some modeling done on the jacket. I am still thinking bolero, but I am going to check out some other options. A standard woman's leather jacket or maybe a biker jacket seem to cliche and overused. I'll figure it out.

Now that I know it will work, it's time to add some detail to it. This is only a preview render. If I rendered this in firefly, it would take all day.

Hmmph. I wonder why the results in a cloth sim are never the same each time when nothing in the scene has changed?

It's still a nice sim, but there are some differences.

Here is another preview render. I am rendering the scene so I can see what the textures are going to look like. But you can see the corner of the jacket under her right arm is folded up. I didn't do that the first time around. Maybe the buttons and stuff bumped up the poly count enough to change the dynamics...
