Let's just say I have no plans of quitting the day job just yet...

The 911 call is really all I have of the idea. I do know my main character is a 50 something who was an assassin during the cold war. A traumatic event causes him to go into hiding. I am torn between a betrayal or lover getting killed. Since the lover getting killed has been overused, it will probably be a betrayal. And I still have to figure out what makes him come out of hiding after nearly 30 years.

Working title: The Ghost.

Oh no.... I am not going that route. No girlfriend fresh out of diapers here.

I am still trying to figure out what brings him out. As far as the long lost GF having a kid, I wrote that story already. I have a story of a an ex Navy Seal who was stationed in the Philippines in the 1990-1992 time period, right as the volcano erupted and the bases were closed. He falls in love and then gets in trouble and gets kicked out of the Navy. After becoming a merc, he gets a letter from a daughter he never knew he had telling him that her and mommy are in trouble and need him. It turned out tragically. The love of his life gets killed, but he does get his daughter out of the country.

Something different would be better then. Getting stuck writing the same story over and over is not good.

We are finally pulling in to a port after almost 3 weeks at sea. Danged if I didn't forget what land looks like.

I'll find out what it looks like tomorrow....

It's kind of lumpy, like the sea when it's rough and has square painted boxes instead of boats. It has smaller boxes on wheels that go really fast, watch out for them, they're quite dangerous.

Oh, yeah.... I've seen that before in movies. It's 5am here. We are getting an early start today, and hopefully that means an early end too...

We are in port now. By tomorrow evening here I will have WIFI, so I will post some pictures. I have a lot of editing to do on the skirt, as far as editing the mc6 and whatnot. I should have that uploaded in the next two days.

But I am finally on dry land, and should be here for a couple weeks minimum.

Yeah, it's great. When you are underway for a long period of time, and scheduled port visits get cancelled due to operational commitments it makes people testy. Now we are in and everyone can get off the ship and away from the same faces and decompress...

I am going tonight to get a prepaid WIFI router for my laptop! I am also going to see Suicide Squad! It's going to be a great day.

I can remember 30 years ago, and going on 6 month deployments. We would come back to the states and the music had changed, there were dozens of movies that came out that we never even heard of, and we had to play catch up. You'd be in a club and a song would come on and of course, you would say, "wow! Is that the new ---?"
And someone would say, "what? That old thing? Where have you been?"
"Um, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, Philippines, Thailand...."

I can't get used to being on land. It's not moving, so it doesn't feel right.

I just got back from the movie. I thought it was pretty good. I won't spoil it if someone was planning on watching it.

But I do think they need to rename it. Instead of 'Suicide Squad', they need to call it Harley Quinn's butt. The sure made sure the camera was on it at least once in every scene. Something for the boys, I guess....

This skirt texture is so nice. I love how you can almost feel it on your skin when you look at it. Well, at least I can, so maybe I'm a little touched...?

Dawn likes it so much, she feels like dancing. The top and the shoes are also mine. I am not too sold on the shoes, and I haven't UV mapped them yet...
