Yeah, so I have to spend the next few days packaging up a couple of things. I am going to pack up a couple of dynamic cloth things for Dawn, a couple things for Jenny for Dawn, and have to find out which Poser Natives people have so I can upload the Green Lightning costumes for the book cover contest....

What I find is if I don't check a thread as soon as I see an alert, it drops the alert and I don't see any more. And sometimes I don't check an alert because I'm writing in a thread and so...poof, goodbye notifications. So to counter that problem, I check the forum using 'Recent Activity' and generally I see new posts.

The forum sends me an email when there's a reply in a thread I'm watching. If I read the email, but don't view the actual thread, I won't get any more notifications until I've actually visited the thread.
There was the option in settings which would only show the first several characters of a thread post in my email, which would force me to finish reading in the thread, but I opted for the entire reply in the email. This may be part of the problem people are having.
viewing the recent activity shows me what I missed. When I enter a thread I haven't been to in a while I'm taken to where I left off. I like that.
