I am on page 93 of the book now. Blaze has her costume and my hero has a new, mostly black one. He has decided to go the vigilante route so he can get some training. So far, it's working for him. The city officials are thankful for his intervention. But we will see if that holds up or not. It's a tough decision to make, story-wise, because both of the big guys (Marvel and DC) are starting to make it a taboo thing. I don't know if I want to follow that or not. They have collectively about 200 years of experience at it, though, and I am a mere beginner.

I decided that I would release the second draft a chapter at a time for proofing. Taking too much at once is hard for me to follow and make corrections. I will be done with the first draft by September if my writing pace holds out.

I am going to bed now, we have another long day ahead and it's going to start early.

Oh yeah, we will be in port for a pretty good spell in a couple weeks, which means I will have WIFI and can post pictures again. I have a few render updates I want to put out there. I may try to incorporate them into the book.

I am planning on having a book cover contest of some sort when it's time to do that. I will have to put my costumes up in order for people to use them in the renders. I have a concept I will post as a guide. I have a lot of work to do if I am to put them on ShareCG. I also want to put those props and clothing up that I have already completed. Sheesh, not enough hours in the day anymore.

I really should get to bed now. Good night.

It's Sunday. I peeked at the Olympics for a minute. I am exhausted and keep nodding off it I stop moving. But I don't want to nap because then I will be up all night. So I am trying to figure out how to stay awake without caffeine. It's not easy...

Yep, difficult is the going word here. I can't concentrate long enough to write my book. It's hard just to respond to this thread. I'll keep any eye out for the zip file...

Afternoon all. I know there are times when I have problems keeping my eyes open, so I get up and walk around every 15-20 minutes. Sitting here, or on the couch watching TV, is not good, and I don't like taking a nap in the middle of the afternoon either. I would probably be up most of the night then, and that's definitely not good.

I slept for a good 12 hours. I haven't done that in years. I guess I was really tired. I hope to have a better day today... It's Monday, so I have to work, maybe that will make a difference. Maybe it won't...

It's been okay so far. I haven't had to do anything too hard, but it's also very hot out here. I think the heat has a hand in why I am so beat down.

It gets worse as I get older. When I was young, I could go for days and days with one or two hours of sleep. Now if I don't get at least 6, I am worthless the next day...

The heat sounds awful. We don't get anything like that here and it's hard to imagine. As Terre said, hope today went better and tomorrow better again.

We are very near the equator, so the heat and humidity are pretty fierce. It was a bit better today, but I am tired now. It's after 9pm and I am off to bed. At least I stayed up a bit later than last night...
