Those are all gorgeous photos, Rae! I hear you on the frustration of trying to capture sky photos with a camera. They just don't do a good job at all.

True. I remember running out to the back of my family's place in Tucson many years ago during a lightning storm. I sooooo wanted a photo of lightning. I've seen them a lot, especially on the 'Net, but I never was able to capture anything, let alone a fuzzy/blurry one, even though I was using a top-of-the line Canon SLR at the time.

Gorgeous photos, Rae!

So, ashore again, this time in the pouring rain and howling northerly. My clothes and other belongings were double bagged in plastic bags, I was in full wet weathers and I got ashore with the only dampness my hair. I looked like I'd gone two rounds with a tornado :) Tomorrow when/if it fines up I shall fetch the computer from the boat and start to play. Woop woop!

Let's hope for good weather. I was looking at our 10-day forecast, and it looks like we're headed for several days of thunderstorms. I'm NOT looking forward to it.

Oh nasty, Miss B! That's just yuck! Our weather is at least warmer at the mo. I was informed Auckland (3 hours south) had the warmest June night in recorded history. Up here, the temps rose 11 degrees C overnight.

I don't know whats with the weather, its been a pleasant day today but they say it could snow in SE Queensland Friday (a pretty rare thing for anyone who knows the Sunshine State :p). I pretty much doubt we'll get any here being 15mins from the beach but I kinda hope it does as I think my dog would love it (although my friends white Shepherd would be hard to spot :D)

Sun's shining here, and a good thing, because Wednesday is my shopping day, and I HATE going to the stores when it's raining out.

I had a fabulous Wednesdays. Got taken out to lunch by a coworker, then refaxed my FMLA paperwork to the courts a second time as they didn't have the first set, and I am now excused permanently from Jury Duty because of my migraines.

I would soooooooooo love to be excused permanently. Unfortunately, here in NY, there is NO upper age limit. :(

Hey all! The sun is shining, the first load of thrash-the-washing-machine is out on the line, I've put all that stuff in the installation folder into where it belongs AND had some time playing with Ken and Sanbie's the Adventurer. For some reason, this time I was able to open DS on Dave's laptop but had to reinstall Firefox. Win10 and its update tricks have a lot to answer for. Dave's threatening to send the laptop back to where he got it and get them to sort it out. Would be the best move, I'm sure no expert and can only do so much.

I've never been served with jury duty since I moved onto the boat...I think they take one look at my address and go "transient!" even though I'm not ;)

Nearly finished my coffee and then out to the boat to collect the computer. Woop woop! I'm going to grab my office stool too, these dining chairs are too low and too hard...last night my neck was so painful, it hurt to turn over in bed.

I've been lucky so far. I've only had to serve on Grand Jury, which isn't so bad as you hear the facts, and vote whether to indict the felon. Then it's on to the next case.

Having worked at a large law firm for 40 years served me well for years, as I knew how to present myself so the attorneys on both sides of the aisle didn't want me on the jury. ;)

I just think when you get to a certain age, you shouldn't have to worry about it any more. ~sheesh~

I've been asked once and all I had to do was get a note from employer saying they couldn't spare me so didn't have to do it.
