Hi everyone,
@Satira, I use the printer for school stuff but I have to watch while it prints as otherwise it ends up with claw holes in it.

Nice! I wish I had one, even though you can't use them for downloading stuff. They're so nice to use.
LOL
It's not nice when it is the only way you can access the store's emails and you are a clutz so the font size in the display makes the d@mn thing think you want to change the language when you are trying to press the arrow to go to the previous page in the inbox! Half the time it doesn't open the email I want either because it thinks I'm pressing between the files! I hope the boss orders a stylus for it as well as the printer we badly need. There are several emails in there that I need to print out for him and a number for other people.

A funny with that ipad yesterday: a co-worker decided to try and find a zoom command that would work on the email and asked "This is Windows 10, right?" I replied that it was an Apple product and wasn't Windows anything, it's OSX.

Hi I need to get back into the pool but it is so much fun to be on my android tablet looking for threads to read and to post in. Did everyone have a good Father's Day?

Hi Alphina, it's not Father's Day in New Zealand till September but your day made me think on my own dad. I miss him still. Such a good bloke.

Blowing a hooley here today and I need to be taking things off the boat for another (maybe) housesit. It's maybe because Joycie's mum is not keen on heading out into the Tasman sea in a cruise boat with a thumping big storm waiting to give said cruise boat a thumping. Joycie's dad will go regardless, he is an ex merchant seaman and veteran of many Pacific yacht trips. So I will go ashore and leave the computer at home. Not worth the risk to it.

Back on the boat for the night before heading ashore again tomorrow. AND on the back deck is a brand new generator!!! The warranty for my screeching one was a replacement, not repairs! I'm now ensconced in front of the computer I did not take ashore, happy as :)

I had two hours on the computer and all I did in that whole time was unpack zips into the installation folder. Methinks I may have slightly overdone the downloading at Joycie's

Oh, just a bit. LOL
With a link provided by a friend elsewhere a co=worker and I got the stupid ipad set to zoom enabled full screen with max of 200%. It'll just take some practice but it works fine without a stylus now. Just need a printer.

Really red sky this morning (tried to take a pic but of course the phone washed the deep orange/red to a pale yellow )
But I did get this one when I turned around and noticed a double rainbow (hard to see the 2nd one because of the lighting and as a bonus you get to see my dog and his white Shepherd girlfriend from down the road playing :D)
Double Rainbow.jpg (click on thumbnail, it was WAY to huge to post full size here, you'd need to scroll to see it :p)

WOW Rae, that almost looks like someone set off a rocketship, and that's the wake of it's upward trajectory.

It was way better in real life, phones just can't capture certain colours well.
It just kept getting brighter and brighter as the sun rose (then the sun went behind clouds and it got dark again :))

This is NOT my photo (was taken at the beach close to us) this is what my camera couldn't capture (and it was even more red and golden than this)
