I've seen it both ways. More modern interpretations have it stylized like the Kingdom Come S, but I like this one because it doesn't take up too much real estate on the costume. It's a separate piece. I could model another one and see which one sits better. Right now I am doing a render, so when that finishes I'll see about making it larger.

I was grabbed out of my room and drug downtown last night by some friends because I haven't left the ship in days since I arrived here in Guam. I didn't want to go, but they said I had to and they were paying for my meal and a couple drinks. So I went. I got back at midnight last night. It's 8am. I didn't get drunk, but I am really tired now. Those guys meant well. I thanked them for the release. Now I have to knuckle down and get something done.

rokket, That is the best version of "The Logo" that I've seen yet. The previous one reminded me of the first logo used by Supeman in the 30's and 40's. This one looks slicker, cooler and just more modern. I don't have a vote but my opinion is that you should go with this one.

I'm liking it too, for the same reasons quietrob mentioned. It is more modern and "slick".

That emblem is an exact replica of the New 52 Supergirl. The colors of the suit are too dark, though. I am reworking it and I'll post an update for you in a bit.

And Rob, you do have a vote. That's why I post the renders. I want opinions and critiques.

While I am not a fan of the overall suit, I really like the bottom half of the boots and the emblem. I will be reworking the boots I made to match these with the exception of the exposed knee part that doesn't look like it should be able to stay in place like that. I will go with more of a knee/shin guard look to it, kind of like I already made, but improved.

And I am putting the skirt on mine. I don't like the cod piece.

Oh, and I really like that fact that she isn't wearing high heels. Even though they upped her sex appeal with the open knee thing, they got the bottom part of it right.

I like the flat boots as well, though the opening at the front near the knee looks nice. I also agree about the skirt. I don't like the cod piece either.

I made that in my boots, but rounded it off. I am thinking I will just make them thigh high like the tv series Supergirl.

I toned down the bump map and gave it an edge blend along with the texture map. The color is lighter, but not really as light as the comic. Thoughts?

@quietrob: do you want something like this, or something that closer matches the tv series or MOS in the movies?

EDIT: I also used Poser 10 sub division when I rendered it to smooth it out a bit...

Thanks! I got sidetracked for awhile. I still have about 7 unfinished projects that I was supposed to have uploaded already. I am getting ready to go home next week. I am so busy. One thing at a time has never been my motto...

I am doing one last render with the skirt attached so I can see how it's going to look with the lighter blue. I may have to adjust the textures on the skirt. Then I have to get showered and do a little *groan* shopping.
