Those can get pretty bad from what I've seen. I hope there aren't any fires nearby.

I guess the plus side (?) is that with last months' La Tuna fire (which came about 400 yards from our house) and the Station fire (8 years ago- that our national forest is just slowly starting to recover from) , there's nothing left to burn around our area (North Los Angeles).

We have entered the clammy stage...
Not quite hot, not quite cool... But everything is damp... And intermittently smells like seaweed or damp leaves that were laying in seaweed...
Today it is just stale and humid with occasional rain...
Bleah...
I hate stale humidity.

But at least everything is not on fire... Sorry to be complaining about humidity when so many people are having drought and brushfire problems.

Yes, I was watching the news a little while ago, and the area where McGyver lives (basically all of Suffolk County), really got hit hard today with rain, and they're expecting more of the same tomorrow.

We didn't get as much here in the City, just early this morning. Of course, we could get more tomorrow, so will have to wait and see.

It's 2:17 am, and I'm finally getting a cool breeze through the open window.

What rain we got here was pretty much done by 8 ish. It was just sprinkles on my commute in.

A day like this in the Pacific Northwest would have been cool and refreshing. Not miserable like it was here :(

We've got more of the same here today. Cloudy, humid (though not as bad as during the summer months), and very grey out there.

Sounds like you have our weather from yesterday Miss B. Today is lovely cool and refreshing. I should be able to sleep well tonight.

That wouldn't surprise me at all Satira, as you're a bit south and west of me, and the jet stream flows up and east, so not surprising my weather's a day behind yours. ;)

Wind and rain tonight here, and possibly snow or wet snow...and freezing temps overnight too. Probably gonna be a slippery commute for people tomorrow!
