Here's the two promo renders for the two freebies I'll have out for the Audubon sale... the "Fly Swatter" (prop based with bend morphs) and the Brown-headed Cowbirds (m/f). For those that don't know, the Brown-headed Cowbird is a stocky blackbird with a fascinating approach to raising its young. Females forgo building nests and instead put all their energy into producing eggs, sometimes more than three dozen a summer. These they lay in the nests of other birds, abandoning their young to foster parents, usually at the expense of at least some of the host’s own chicks.

After finishing my crazy 5 sets + 2 freebies goal for my Audubon Sale, I'm now starting to have fun and do some renders with all the sets...

Here's the Jamaican Blackbirds showing their unusual adaptation. Since there are no woodpeckers in Jamaica, this endangered Blackbird has taken over that role, exhibiting woodpecker like behavior.

The Scott's Oriole is found in Mexico and the American Southwest. It favors cacti flowers and fruit, as well as a variety of insects.

...and my Black Sage (from Butterfly Garden2) attracts a honey bee (it also shows the three color variations of the black sage flowers; lavender, light blue and white)

I (and my product line) left DAZ3D back in May 2013 to join Chris Creek's (DAZ3D founder) new venture, Hivewire 3D.

When Hivewire's store closed in January 2021, I (and my product line) moved to Renderosity.

For those who have purchased products of mine from DAZ (or Hivewire), I do have a "Transfer Program" available that allows you to get the latest updates to all my products (And yes, the old DAZ3D versions of Songbird ReMix have been significantly updated).

Ok what about Daz Songbird If I brought Daz Songbird. There Songbird Remix Upgrade for Songbird

Here is the link I found in the Wayback Machine:
DAZ Productions - 3D Models, 3D Content, and 3D Software

And could you please compare Daz Originals Songbird with Songbird Remix in Iray?

The DAZ Songbird and Songbird ReMix were at one time close cousins. BL Render and I took the DAZ songbird and greatly improved it-- four digits instead of three on the feet, two-sided wing and tail feathers, fluff feathers and numerous other improvements and a huge host of morphs. that was the original "upgrade". By 2005, BL Render left our partnership, and I alone continue to upgrade Songbird ReMix. My first solo upgrade allowed the model to morph into other birds besides Passerines (like parrots, doves, woodpeckers, etc). DAZ deemed Songbird ReMix was different enough to be free of "upgrade" status and it became its own standalone product. Since then I upgraded the model three more times. So yes, it is significantly different from the DAZ Songbird. The Songbird Remix series currently has about 1,400 different species of bird (of the 10,000+ found in the world), the DAZ Songbird has 3.

I haven't ever tried the DAZ Songbird in Iray but feel confident that a Songbird ReMix bird is superior went put side-by-side.

You can look at the "Original" Songbird ReMix set manual PDF for more details.
