Some really lovely Poser & DAZ character renders

I have to say, I've never been too thrilled with DAZ's models of black people. They've alway seem to literally just be "blackwashed" versions of white people, but those two could be relatives of mine.

Practice. Practice. Practice. It took me years to get half-way decent, and that's only because I've been a member of the Dreamlight Club for almost 9 years, and even though the main focus back in those days was working in DAZ Studio, I still learned a lot, that I'm now trying to utilize in Poser. I still can't create a set of lights from scratch as I learned to do in earlier versions of DS, but at least I know enough to be able to tweak a light set I may have purchased to suit a particular scene.

So yes, practicing for almost 9 years has gotten me more comfortable with lighting, but I'm still experimenting and learning how to do it better. No one becomes a lighting expert right away, it takes time.

I flail at lighting. Doesn't help when the viewport doesn't show *anything* like what the final render looks like.
