Remember these??????? Okay, this one requires a little explanation. When I was little, We didn't get much snow in North Carolina. I was almost always sleet. We were also poor, so we could afford sleds even if it did snow. So we go inventive and slid down the hill on trash can tops or flat cardboard boxes. That was in the Winter. In the Spring and summer, we would slide down hills with tall grass on it. On windy days, sometimes we even took off.
