I'm going to guess The Blob.
The movie I remember him best for was The Great Escape.

Ironically, I knew Steve McQueen best for the Western TV show he did called Wanted. I know he was supposed to be a movie star, but I didn't care that much.

Mayberry. I live in North Carolina and when I was little I use to look in the encyclopedia to see if I could find Mayberry on a map. I live in Raleigh, so I figured it would be close to it. I found Siler City, but Mayberry, doesn't actually exist.

Yes he was. Andy actually went with him to the boot camp his first day...snuck around looking in windows. It was embarrassing!

Well, yes and no. There is a Pilot Mountain, but no Mount Pilot that I can find. and it's real close to Mount Airy, which is Andy's real home and said to inspire Mayberry.

Remember these?????? Yeah, it's an outhouse, and yeah, I have used one out in the country when I was a kid. One of my sisters had one. For the record, yes, she did have running water in the house, just no toilet.
