Ha..that's pretty cool.
Reminds me of something I did once.
Found an ammunition belt in an army surplus store.
Had two pouches, positioned at the sides, and they were waterproofed.
Made a perfect backpack for my dog so when we went on long hikes she packed her own provisions.
