I am making shoes again. Wanted to make something new and different, but there is always the risk of making it weird. The problem with open sandals is that everything needs to be double-sided, which complicates UV mapping and tends explode poly count. So, the modeling had to be extra-careful, ending up with 22K polys, which is pretty conservative. The PBR textures are still a work in progress and will take some time.
