Dusk loading slowly in DS 4.9

I'm not sure if this is a DS issue or a Dusk issue, but this is what the log said:

That 1 min 38.9 sec seems like a long time waiting for Dusk to load. Must be something to do with that incorrect sRGB profile. Again, not sure if this is a Dusk issue, but thought I would let you know.

Haven't had other reports of this....DS 4.8 took about 9 seconds to load.

Yeah, it's intermittent. So I'm thinking it is a DS problem, as other stuff seems to be slow, too, whenever I am having the Dusk problem.

I just tried in DS4.9 and it loaded reasonably quickly.

The problem went away for me too, so must have been something going on with DS or my computer at the time.

DS has a knack to conk out at random.... irritating to say the least.
Haven't had much problems using any hivewire figure myself, but i'm using my handbuilt unit.... Hexcore FX6350, 32Gb ram. 6Tb storage, GTX960 4Gb graphics. (works great even for games)

@Pendraia , thank you... and here I was pondering on replacing the processor with the FX9850 (Octacore)

Oh wow...that would make me even more envious...I'm really due to upgrade!

My reason for doing it would be the finances and not being able to do anything on the comp while rendering...I'm seriously pondering looking into a server mainboard (dual processor) for my future build. (workstation)
