TITLE: "Stow Away"

BACKGROUND:
This image was created entirely with a Number two, hard lead pencil (those are almost impossible to find nowadays, but I still have a few in my stockpiles). The image was created on a fine tooth drawing surface (20# typing paper), looseleaf. The original image is 8.5 x 11 inches. This is one of my old pictures done in very graphic, comic style illustration. It was created as an overleaf illustration to compliment a story in a magazine.
A classic sea monster, Mer-man style. The worst kind of stow away. These things always happen during storms at sea it seams. An interesting side note, though it went off the page, the life preserver was going to say "S.S. Minnow".
Not one of my best works, but it has a certain charm I feel. So, I will share it. Enjoy.
