TITLE: "My Father's Sword"

BACKGROUND:
This image was created entirely with a Number two, hard lead pencil (those are almost impossible to find nowadays, but I still have a few in my stockpiles). The image was created on a Course tooth drawing surface (Unsure of type or size of paper), looseleaf. The orriginal image is quite old. I hope to later digitally master this picture and clean it up, though I lack the motive and desire now. In addition, the scan did not do it justice, coming out much darker than it should have (I need a better scanner).
Just a random picture of a hand wielding an ornate sword, with details of the hilt. Can't remember why I drew it, maybe just because. Though no where near as technically skilled as some of my other works, I feel it has a certain feel, ambiance, and charm to it, so I will share it. While not poorly drawn, I would not consider this one of my masterful pieces. Mostly I am unhappy with the shading, and some of the linework. Well, I hope someone else out there finds enjoyment and inspiration in this piece. As with a lot of pieces I created in this era, my initials and date are hidden in the details somewhere.
