BACKGROUND:
This image was created with a Number two, hard lead pencil, and some india ink in the darker areas of the sky. The image was actually done in two stages, on a fine tooth drawing surface (loose Leaf) of unusual size. The outfit and bits of armor were illustrated separately, copied, cut, and pasted (by hand, not digitally), as the original figure was nude. Perhaps some day I shall post the original figure without the backdrop or armor.
This is Amanda, the Dragon Princess. She is a fantasy character for a series I was working on. As with many projects, it was eventually dropped. I am quite happy with this piece over all, despite it's relative simplicity compared to other works of mine.
