TITLE: "Bikinni Sunrise"

BACKGROUND:
This image was created using Prang colored pencils. It was rendered on a medium tooth drawing surface, found in a leatherbound, Tara sketchbook (8.5 x 11 inch). The entire piece took me about Seven hours to complete (this is a guesstimate, as I was not keeping track of time).
This is a redesign and color of a very old Black & White graphic design I did back in my High School days. I always particularly liked the concept and wanted to see it in color. Upon completion I settled on the tittle of "Bikinni Sunrise" in remembrance of that paradise lost in the wake of the atomic age. I feel it is a fitting symbolism and metaphor all around.
