BACKGROUND:
This is the Second official image of the Wildcards series, "Ace Of Hearts". This image was inspired by the image created for my brother's birthday, as I decided to customize a few more playing cards too. A few people have asked me to do a whole deck, but at this time, I do not think I will. I have a total of 10 cards planned for now. The scan really does not do the image justice...to get a good clean scan I will have to tear the page from the book, which I do not feel like doing at this time. I still need to do some cleanup and color correction to get a print ready version of this image.
This image was created using Prang colored pencils with 3.5mm cores and a .05mm Technical Pencil. It was rendered on a medium tooth drawing surface, 8.5x11 inch, loose leaf paper. The entire piece took me about six hours to complete. I am planning many more of the series.
